My name is Richard Smith, a driving instructor  based in Reigate, Surrey. I offer driving lessons at all driving levels, including beginner, refresher and Pass Plus lessons; I offer a complete service from start to finish. You'll never share your lesson with another student. It's pure 1-2-1 for your entire lesson.

Your first lesson with me is a "Two for one" lesson lasting 2 hours for the price of 1. If you have driven before (whether its with friends, family or another driving instructor) this will be used as an assessment lesson to decide on what level of instruction is required. If this is your first experience of driving this lesson will be used as a trial lesson to familiarise you with the car, going though the controls and getting you moving (you will drive the car on your 1st lesson).

 

There are so many driving instructors out there, but how do you choose?

 

 

Before you start your lessons or book your theory test you need to apply for your provisional driving licence. This can be done up to 3 months before your 17th birthday, and becomes valid when you reach seventeen.

You can apply online or via application form D1 available from most post office branches. The cost is currently £ 50.00 and applications take approximately 7-14 working days to process.
